Can i straighten my thick, slightly wavy hair with straightening shampoo + conditioner?

i've always wanted to grow out my hair but it always turns out wavy and i find it hard to style. My hair is not curly just a little wavy. Would any shampoo + conditioner help to make it straight or am i forced to used a straightener everytime?Can i straighten my thick, slightly wavy hair with straightening shampoo + conditioner?
I have the same problem my hair is kinda wavy too... My mom told me a story about her friend who works at a shampoo company and told me that all of the special shampoos out there are basically the same exept for 1 or 2 ingredients so the straightening shampoo and conditioner is really no different than the volumizing shampoo or the de frizzing one... So i guess moral of the story wash your hair with regular shampoo and then straighten it with your straightener...





if only straightening shampoo and conditioner worked.. the world would be a happier place ! =]

well yeah, u could use a shampoo and conditioner, but it won't really do much...... it just basically makes it easier for you to straighten it...


straightening it every day sounds about right.. story of my life (sadly... =(. i hate my wavy hair sooo much 鈽?
i've heard that tigi has a shampoo/conditioner that could do that, but i'm not sure... otherwise sorry, but straightening is the only option. why don't u just try going natural for a while? learn to enhance your wave and see how u look with wavy hair
Most straightening shampoos and conditioners don't actually straighten your hair. They usually just enhance it when you use them and then flat iron it. Unless you get your hair chemically straightened, using a straightener is really your only option.
i have wavy hair to, when you get shampoo and conditioner you take a shower, dry your hair, it will be puffy and stuff,but just straighten it. (with a straightner) it might take a while but it works.
yea, shampoo and conditioner will help but you need to straighten it if you want it completelly straight. =]

so... lol. Yea, you're stuck with straightening your hair. You COULD get it chemically straightened... And so that way you wouldn't have to straighten your hair EVERY day
The only good hair is a straight hair. Conformity all around, it's the only way to be, you know!

omg i have the same hair and no shampoo or conditioner has worked for me your not forced to use a straightener you can blow your hair out straight
Sorry to say this but your forced to straighten it ever time. Unless you get it chemically straightened.
