What's the best drugstore shampoo/conditioner you can get?

Particularly for someone who straighten's their hair often and has somewhat dried and damaged hair. What's the best drugstore shampoo/conditioner you can get?
Pantene

Garnier

Vo5 - Strawberries and Cream/Cocunut

Tresemme

These are all great inexpensive moisturizing lines. What's the best drugstore shampoo/conditioner you can get?
Believe it or not....Suave now makes a knock-off line of shampoos and conditioners that are super cheap and work really well.
There are several things to take into consideration. How is your scalp? If that too, is dried, at least once a week use a conditioner with heat. Go to a beauty supply store and ask, they have many in samples that you can buy for one dollar or so. If your hair is still dry after using what ever conditioner, try using a leave-in conditioner, they work great. I di not know what part of the country you live in, however, the cold weather triggers dryness in the scalp.

Good Luck!
Tresemme anti-breakeage or Mane ~N~ Tail (which was originally desinged for horses, but now it's for us of the human variety as well) work great for dry/damaged hair. Or garnier fruictise.

Also try to find any leave in conditioner. They work the best because they get a chance to soak into the hair and work for a long time. Even with non-leave in conditioner leave it in from 5 to 15 min. to get optimum results. Your hair will be softer and less brittle.

Also try pantene for women of color. (If your avatar represents the true you, I'm guessing that you aren't a woman of color) but since african americans have naturally dry and brittle hair that line of shampoo and conditioners and treatments should work great for your hair.

Oh yeah a little home remedie: After you wash your hair don't dry it. Take your conditioner and put it in a little bowl add only a few drops of baby oil and a little water. Mix it very well and put the mixture in your hair roots to ends. Then take a shower cap or plastic bag and put that on your head covering all your hair. Then put a towel over that(to keep your hair from dripping on your neck/back) and leave it for about ten minutes. Rinse and go on with your normal styling routine.

Hope this works for you.:)
Tresseme is my personal favorite (Moisture Rich). Garnier Fructis has a lot of great moisturizing deep conditioners and products. I use their deep conditioner on my hair and it's amazing.
panthene ice
