Try using a moisturizer shampoo like Nexxus/Therapy, alternating with citrus acid shampoo, again Nexxus/Assure). Conditioners are Nexxus, ';Keraph %26amp; Humet';. Use Keraph. every 4 weeks and weekly with Nexxus moisturizer conditioner ';Humet.'; especially during summer months...and No, I do not work for Nexxus, but I have the product knowledge, experience and history that began back in the eighties, September 1981 to be exact. And oh Yes, Hair %26amp; Beauty

suppliers do change the product ingredients often with you not even being told...The larger corporations say thing like ';New and Improved'; and now ';With Xuppt'; in it... and it's marketing...

Anyway, this is a formula that just might work ..alternating to balance...
honestly i think herbal essences sucks. i used to use it and it was terrible. [well it may be different for other people...]

i use Pantene smooth [in the green bottle] it's REALLY good.

get the shampoo and conditioner separate, NOT the ';2 in 1'; bottle if they sell that...and shampoo your hair first in the shower, then coat all of your hair nicley in the conditioner, and leave it in your hair for the rest of the shower and occasionally run your fingers through it. that's what i do and my hair is amazing (:
hi,

while i was shopping i came across a shampoo stand. It was Loreal EverPure Sulfate- Free Shampoo. it is 100% sulfate and salt free. It is 100% Vegan. Probably the reason your hear is damaged and dry is because of the sodium laurth sulfate found in most shampoos.

if you have colored hair it has an anti-fade system which protects and cares for you color eachtime you wash and condition you hair.

It smells amazing with botanical infusions of rosemary, juniper and mint extracts.

it contains no animal bi-products and are not tested on animals.

the three diffrent shampoos are: Moisture(which helps nourish dry, damaged hair with essential moisture.) Smooth (which protects hair from humidity and smoothes frizz.) The last one is Volume (which infuses the hair with soft wieghtless volume.

i would suggest the Moisutre one because it makes your hair soft and will nourish you hair. i promise you will see a diffrence.

i hope i helped
-Aussie works really good. The ones that say 'Moist' and 'Hair Insurance' might work for you. But I use 'Sydney Smooth' and the result was so great. :)

-Pantene is a very effective brand too, to me. 'Moisture Renewal' should do the job for you. I'm not sure about the new lines that they have. Maybe they are good too. ;D

-Herbal Essences works like magic for me. 'Break's Over', 'Hello Hydration' or 'Hydralicious Reconditioning' (the new purple one) might be the ones for you if you like that brand. The Hydralicious line is newer, and I think it works just as well. ^-^
Here is natural remedy .Aloe Vera,is a good remedy for dry hair. You can use the one readily available or the fresh one. It is obtained from the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant. Break the leaf and squeeze out the liquid inside, apply this liquid to your scalp, keep for about an hour and wash it off . Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info on dry hair.
When I went to get my haircut I asked them and she said that for dry damaged hair she would recommend Aussie (the purple one with the kangaroo) because her daughter had dry damaged hair and they tried that out and...
Pantene it keeps your hair strong and healthy get the shampoo, conditioner ,and the moisturizer.and doesn't make your hair get dead ends so fast.
I hear Sexy Hair Organics by Sexy Hair Concepts is an amazing hair care line for people with parched tresses. People says it's ultra-moisturizing and very hydrating.
