What's a good shampoo/conditioner to help reduce the number of split ends?

The only way to get rid of a split end is to cut it off. There is no conditioner or shampoo that will repair a split end.

Aussie Moist conditioner worked for me. Just put a little on your ends everyday in the shower.

You can't really repair split ends. Get your hair cut and keep up regular maintenance. Most of the time split ends are because you are allowing you hair to get blown around, or its overworked. Use different hair products to 'seal' you hair once you have styled and leave it alone.
To keep from getting split ends try getting trims about every 6 weeks. Also at the drugstore you can find TIGI bedhead ego boost leave-in conditioner for split ends. It should seal up the ends temporarily until you can get them cut off. Also use a very moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, hair that is dry and brittle tends to split. If you already try that and it doesn't work, try an intense moisturizing hair mask once a week. Good Luck!

i would try some kind of therapy conditioner or something super moisturizing like dove. take a dime size about and rub it gently into your ends. then let it sit for around 5 minutes. then rinse as usual. definitely get a hair cut! also try john freda secret weapon and use it on ends it will keep them looking very healthy!
Shampoos and conditioners don't get rid of splt ends. Only a haircut can do that.





You can prevent them by getting regular trims and by using shampoos and conditions that moisturize. Also, if you are using curling irons, flat irons, or blow dryers....there are sprays that you can spray on before you use them to help prevent heat damage which causes split ends.

There is none! The best way is to go to a saloon and ask them to give you a haircut and make sure to take care of the split ends. If you get haircuts often you shouldnt have to many split ends.
