In my opinion I would NOT recomend Aussie, The whole Nair Brand and i Recomend Hairpy Sunsilk (my favorite) also suave, and Pantene

Anything you can buy at a grocery store I like real natural (ORGANIC) hair products and you have to be careful because some say natural and are not ex:Natures gate.
Be wary of things with silicone or just cones in general, parabens, mineral oil,and petralateum- I hope I spelled that right.
shampoos that test on animals.
Like herbal essences.
Pantene
Aussie
Suave
Johnson %26amp; Johnson
etc.

Panteen Pro V I heard it makes your hair fall out after a while. Also what type of hair do you have? That makes a big difference.

i dont think head and shoulders work..so i wouldnt recommend using that...and that one silk shampoo...and jup dats about it..;

What is the best shampoo/conditioner to use?
i have light blonde hair that doesn't take long after a cut to get split ends. i am trying to grow it out long so i need a good shampoo and conditioner to keep it growing long and healthy without those split ends! can someone recommend me a not so overpriced shampoo and/or conditioner?

well one that i like a lot is the Tigi and Catwalk collection. you can find them in most ';modern'; salons, and you can even sometimes find them at places like marshall's or ROSS where they may be discounted.

Get tigi catwalk 'Dumb Blonde' shampoo and conditioner, they bring out the colour and dull down brassy tones and are also very hydrating. Another tip is sea kelp tablets, they actually help to make hair grow faster. Lots of my friends swear by them. x
I swear by Mane %26amp; Tail. I've completely bleached my whole head and it left my hair soooo damaged. Mane %26amp; Tail made my hair really thick and healthy again. It's in the pet section at Wal-Mart (yes, it's for humans to use too!)
i personaly think that any biolage product will be the best for you to use. i have the same hair and it just brushes out like silk. its kinda of expensive but it will be worth it!!

I would look for an organic shampoo or something that contains tea tree oils to help protect your hair and keep your ends from getting damaged. Jason Natural makes hair care products that are natural and healthy!
My friend who is a stylist said that TREsemme works really good. It was created by a salon. Her teacher used it so it must work.

NIOXIN is great. There is a whole line of therapy you should check out. It is pricey, so if you're looking for a more affordable alternative trying a supplement called Biotin. This is what is found in NIOXIN. You can find Biotin at walmart. The 5000mg is what I would recommend.eye make up

What shampoo and conditioner is recommended for growing hair?
I have thick wavy hair, that's just below my shoulders and nothing seems to make it grow. I get it trimmed every three months, I don't damage my hair with a ton of products and heat, and I use Pantene Pro-v Beautiful Lengths and it hasn't grown in 6 months. I could use some advice. So the thing is that shampoo and conditioners don't really make your hair grow automatically. They just make your hair stronger and fight split ends so it might grow a little faster. I'm using the Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths too, and that happens to be one of the best products you can get for fighting split ends. But keep in mind that shampoo and conditioner can only make your hair healthier and fight damage.
It's great that you are getting a trim every three months and don't use a ton of heat products. I would recommend that you stick with the Pantene stuff, but if you really don't like it I say try Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship or Breaks Over, Garnier Fructis Length and Strength, or Dove Intense Damage Therapy.

There used to be several good brands, but they were bought out by commercial cosmetic companies, and they change the original formulas, and they become much like the rest. I really used to like Jhirmack, which had the best products at one time, but not since it was sold to Playtex. KMS was very good too, but seems to have disappeared. Redken was bought by L'Oreal. If you can find Focus21, or Nexxus, they still seem to be maintaining their quality and have very good products. It does the exact opposite of normal stuff, it makes your hair dry and tangly so it will continue to dread and stay that way, and if you use it and you don't have dreads, it will destroy your hair easily
Well my hairdresser told me that tresemme is actually quite bad for your hair because it kills it if you use it regally.

Herbal Essence it turns you into an orgasmic nympho twenty year old..and you can degrease engines with it too.

It didn't keep my hair straight at all, and it didn't smell or feel good on my hair.

Is there any way to get rid of dandruff with out using a special shampoo/conditioner?
i have had dandruff for the past 2 weeks and it won't go away! Is there any way to get rid of it just at home or something without going out and buying special shampoo/conditioner???Is there any way to get rid of dandruff with out using a special shampoo/conditioner?

Dandruff Preventative
1 part vinegar
1 part water
Mix, then use by parting hair and applying to scalp with cotton.
Dandruff Treatment I
10 to 15 aspirin tablets
1/2 cup warm water
Dissolve aspirin in water. Gently massage the mixture into the scalp. Leave on 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat in a few days, if needed.

1 part any antiseptic mouthwash
2 parts distilled water
Mix mouthwash and water. Apply with a cotton ball, parting hair inch by inch across your scalp, front to back. Dab the saturated cotton along the parts. Leave on for 30 minutes; shampoo normally.Is there any way to get rid of dandruff with out using a special shampoo/conditioner?
my grandpa had dandruff and he used regular listerine mouthwash straight out of the bottle and he swore by it.
just make sure that u wash u'r hair w/ plenty of water and do not use different shampoo.

When i have dandruff i just washed my hair like normal with regular shampoo and conditioner and it disappeared. It might be because of a product you are using in your hair or your scalp could be damaged.
