What shampoo and conditioner would you suggest for me?

I have normal texture, no problems with my hair, plenty of shine, and I only use Tigi and Aveda. What shampoo and conditioner would you suggest for me?
I would fully recommend: Catwalk Oatmeal %26amp; Honey shampoo and conditioner.

great smell, and it leaves hair soft and pretty. What shampoo and conditioner would you suggest for me?
Use Sunsilk, the lighter blue bottle ( I forgot what its called but its meant for hair that doesn't need improvement, just to make sure the hairs stays healthy and how it is )

Good luck ! :)

  • Herbal essences or aussie which shampoo&conditioner should i get?

(my hair is dry and damaged from bleaching)

they are both on sale and both the same price.

which do you think is better?Herbal essences or aussie which shampoo%26amp;conditioner should i get?
i love aussie! i think it smells just fine. nothing wrong with the fragrance lol. but herbal essences does smell lovely too.Herbal essences or aussie which shampoo%26amp;conditioner should i get?
    herbal esscences aussie smells horrid

    What is/are your favorite shampoo/conditioner(s)?

I like Herbal Essences because of their scents.

I like Tresemm茅 and Garnier Fructis because of the treatment, and Garnier for the natural extracts.

I like VO5 for the price, and scents.

    I also like Pantene's treatments.

What's your favorite brand of shampoo?

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks.What is/are your favorite shampoo/conditioner(s)?
Herbal Essences is just wonderful. They are fragrant and having colour treated hair, they do not dry out the hair. The accompanying conditioner is also superb as I have no tangles after washing which I have found with other products.

Tresemme is also good. I found Garnier Fructis to leave a film on the hair which makes it limpy.

    Great choices.What is/are your favorite shampoo/conditioner(s)?
    i like pantene pro v =]
    I like Tresemm茅 too
I buy what ever is on sale.

It all seems to work the same..
pantene prov for the special hair color. it smells great and makes your hair nice and soft. DON'T use thermasilk, it makes your hair really sticky and dry and super poofy
i like head %26amp; soulders. i dont have dandruff (its dandruff shampoo)but it makes my hair soft and gets rid of split ends.
    I use tresemme
    therasilk is great
The best is a new brand just coming out called Organix. Its got organic active ingredients, is sulfate free so it won't dry out your hair..and the fragrances are absolutely amazing!! Organix should be in stores over the next few weeks. You'll be able to get it at Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Safeway, etc. Its awesome!!!
    Dove
i really like suave and pantene. i also like herbal essences.
Just so you know, Pantene has silicones in it that build up in your hair overtime... you can literally scrape the buildup off with your fingernail. Herbal Essence and Garnier are the most drying shampoos i've ever seen. Tresseme is okay if your in a pinch but I love and favor Redken. Believe it or not salon products are not that much more than store brands and much better quality. I always tell my clients, it's like having a priceless painting (your face) and putting it in a dollar store frame. It doesn't make sense. You should invest more care in your hair. It is one of the first things people see when they look at you and personally, I would never want to be remembered as the girl with yucky hair.
My mom says always buy the expensive stuff because it works
tresemme is totally my favoriate. although a little on the pricy side it repairs your hair nicely and keeps it shiny all day. but the fact that it smells nice is an awesome plus!
I use Nioxin most of the time because it keeps my hair healthy, but I love Thermasilk and the way my hair feels after I use it. With Thermasilk my hair gets split ends way faster.
    Avalon

    lavender
Cream of Nature Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner

Mane 'n Tail Deep Moisturizing Shampoo %26amp; Deep Moisturizing Conditioner.
    PANTENE
I always buy pantene or Garnier Fructis.
I love the Thermasilk line of products, especially if you blow dry your hair. It really makes your hair feel silky, smell good, and does not leave a lot of build-up which is very important if you have thin hair like me!!
I like the Alba products, especially the Hawaiin ones, which have great scents, most especially, the ones that smell like honey due, plumeria and gardenia. They smell sooo good.

I also like, ergh, love the sexy hair products, which you can only really buy in salons. One of their most convenient, effective, time saving products is the 'Sexy Straight Hair' shampoo, which, once you have blow dried your hair, it is straight.
    Head %26amp; Shoulders
I love Frederic Fekkai's shampoos %26amp; conditioners, information and review are at: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio鈥?/a>
    I like Thermasilk.
    Fructis
dove and brilliant brunette by john freida are awesome
Pantene is by far the best. It keeps your hair healthy and shiny. Dove works well too though.
I like anything that smells like the ocean. I also like the Aveeno products, especially their shaving cream.

What shampoo and conditioner is good for really curly hair?

My boyfriend is growing out his hair and we're both spanish, but his hair is very different from mine. His hair is super thick with small tight curls. His hair is very dry and I don't know what kind of products to suggest to him. What shampoo and conditioner is good for really curly hair?
i know people will tell you to use expensive salon products, but i personally have been trying to find a good shampoo for years and have spent 20 dollars or more on shampoo and the best i have ever used it herbal essences hello hydration in the blue bottle. i swear, i can get away with using nothing but this shampoo. no conditioner, no biosilk . and my hair looks and feels great, its incredible. it defines the texture of my hair like nothing else. the key is not to shampoo daily, only every onther day at most. What shampoo and conditioner is good for really curly hair?
nothing. Your hair shouldnt be washed with shampoo and conditioner. Your hair has natural oils in it to be able to rinse it under water. I haven't washed my hair in years and the hairdressers have said to me its the best hair that they have seen in a long time!
Anything organic. Try Avalon Organics, or Aubrey Organics. :) Coconut oil rubbed into the roots is very healthy, and also aloe vera all over your hair will keep it soft and silky :)
Matrix for Curly hair is supposed to be great.
Try lorel elvive or frizz ease theyre good and ewww thats sick not washing your hair it would smell
Try herbal essences it's a curl thing (the one in the purple bottle)
    garnier is really good

What shampoo and conditioner will make my hair grow longer and tame my curls down to waves?

I just started using Mane N' Tail shampoo and garnier fructis sleek and shine for the conditioner, instead of that shampoo and conditioner what others can i use? What shampoo and conditioner will make my hair grow longer and tame my curls down to waves?
    http://petads.bappy.com/beauty/hair.html

    Try taking a multivitamin

Use mane %26amp; tail shampoo and conditioner

    Use hot oil treatments

    Eat A balanced diet

    Drink Lots Of Water

http://petads.bappy.com/beauty/hair.htmlWhat shampoo and conditioner will make my hair grow longer and tame my curls down to waves?
I use conditioner instead of shampoo most of the time and i now apply the conditioner or shampoo on top of my head and work it down without messing up the hair and then rinse it.. use paper towel to absorb the moisture and then put gel on the paper towel spread it around and place it on top of my hair for a while then comb it out.. No more crazy curls or frizz...
If you have black girl hair like me the you really cant tame you hair down, trust me I'd tried, the only thing you can do is get a relaxer in you hair.It makes it wavy and soft. You have to do it every 6 months because your hair will grow and you roots will be curly.
to boost hair growth take Prenatal vitamins and they will help! a vitamin is not anything special it is simply extracted and concentrated ';food'; so it is safe!

take Biotin as well and do the following to boost hair growth

if you take external and internal steps as I have outlined

There are several ways to promote hair growth

    take vitamin C and B

take some amino acid pills-hair needs protein to grow

Take selium to boost immune system

    You should increase protein intake

Vitamin E And D are great for hair health

You need lots of vegetables and fruits

Externally get good hair oil like Mira hair oil

It will promote faster hair growth-this one is crucial but it is an external application

What shampoo and conditioner should I use to get strong and healthy hair?

My hair is a little bit weak. It seems to be thinning out. I need some type of hair care product that will bring my hair back to its normal strong healthy self. Any suggestions? Thanks! What shampoo and conditioner should I use to get strong and healthy hair?
you can try garnier fructese but its only good for a while if oyu take it for a long time your hair will get dry. the best for me is aussie and all there productsWhat shampoo and conditioner should I use to get strong and healthy hair?
The best way to get strong healthy hair is with regular aromatherapy scalp massage treatments. Anyone who wants gorgeous hair should focus on the scalp--as a healthy well nourished scalp is the key to beautiful healthy hair. Aromatherapy scalp massage treatments made with certain essential oils provide energy and nourishment to the follicles and roots. They regulate sebum and ph and they cleanse the scalp of any bacteria, fungus, product build up or pollutants that may inhibit health hair growth. My hair grows super fast and is much more shiny and healthy since I've been using these products. The link below explains how aromatherapy helps grow healthy hair.
I like garnier fructis color sheild. Even if you don't color your hair it helps repair it a lot and give it shine. I loveee the conditioner too! I use a huge glob every night and my hairs really soft and fluffy :D Hope it helps you! Plus if you have a costco nearby you can get the jumbo bottles for a pretty good price.
Honey, anything that you get in a salon will be a great improvement over store bought brands. I know that they are a little more expensive, but the results you see and feel will be worth the extra money. We use Biolage products in my salon, and everyone loves the way it makes their hair look and feel. Spend some extra money and your hair will thank you I promise
I would say not to use chemicals on your hair. Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for hair loss as well as for healthy hair at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm…
cut it short a couple times, then let it grow out again.

    or

shave it off, once so it will grow better the next time (guaranteed), but i wouldn't think you'd want to.

besides that, just use organic hair products
Here are some of my faveorite shampoo's

  • What shampoo and conditioner is safe for hair extensions?

I just got individual strand keratin bonded hair extensions a few days ago. I'm about to wash my hair for the first time, and I need to know a few specific brands of shampoo and conditioners that are safe. I've heard that a de-tangling shampoo is best and not to use anything with alcohol or oil, but I'm having trouble finding anything that meets those standards. Help! What shampoo and conditioner is safe for hair extensions?
It's ok to use any shampoo + conditioner, and remember not to do the roots because it will make your extensions fall out! I would use one not too cheap but not too expensive :)What shampoo and conditioner is safe for hair extensions?
shampoos like nexxus, herbal Essence, pantene, head and sholders.
suave is safe. i used it once.

What shampoo and conditioner would be good for me?

    I have thick/wavy hair,

I would like to have the shampoo and conditioner work on damage control, as well as non- frizz and leaves the hair still sleek and shiny.

What would you recommend? What shampoo and conditioner would be good for me?
    Pantene Pro-V

It smells amazing and works amazing too plus its inexpensive.

But you should change up your shampoo and cond everytime. What shampoo and conditioner would be good for me?
i would recommend you use either Herbal Essences, Garnier Fructis, Dove....products like this. These shampoos work great with my thick hair and smell great! I would also like to recommend that you get a leave-in conditioner to use once a week on your hair; it works wonders on thick hair. Its like eight glasses of water a day for your hair. lol. Also, if you use a lot of heat on your hair, such as blow drying, straightening, curling, etc, I'd recommend you take care of it by rinsing with cool water and using a heat spray for your hair when using heat. Don't put too much product in it when wet, though. It makes thick hair feel really gross. and leads to product overload.
Well I am kind of spoiled, i have long hair medium, not really thick but thicker. Anyway, I haven't bought cheap department store shampoo and conditioner in years, I used to always buy it from the salon or someplace like trade secrets at the mall. Now I only buy it from bathlab, it makes my hair really soft and it is so healthy now. Plus you get to pick the scent and color of the shampoo and conditioner so it is custom! There site is http://www.bathlab.com, I should check and see if they have a referal program because i keep recommending them.

Before Bathlab products I used to use Tigi Bed Head Self Absorbed Shampoo and it was pretty good too.

    Good luck, it's a tough decision!!! :-)
I have the exact same type of hair as you,

    thick, wavy, and damaged.

So in my opinion you should most definately use Aussie's new shampoo ';Protect + Soften';.

Its calms down thick/frizzy hair and helps to leave hair looking and feeling soft and healthy.

    http://www.aussie.com/us/collections/opposites_attract/shampoo.jsp

    Helpful hints:

-make sure to leave always get leave-in conditioner which Aussie also provides. It does wonders to damaged hair.

-always rinse with cold water, it gives hair a healthy shine.

    hope this helps (:
    Same exact thing here!

    Thick, wavy, occasionally frizzy, yep!

I love Pantene. The shampoo and conditioner work really well.

Also, it works to buy some hair oil and put it on, but don't put too much! I made that mistake once, it makes your hair look really oily (i wonder why) and flat and greasy. So yeah. I hope I helped!
pantene pro-v, i have really thick curly hair and my favorite it aussie. its really good. and if your willing to spend a little more then ojon is good they have it at sephoras. always look for things that say for dry or damaged hair. and condition more than you do shampoo!! try to not shampoo very often!
i have the same kind of hair, and i use garnier fructis and there are lots of different types of it, and i'm sure they have some 4 non-frizz, and they DEFININTLY have the sleek and shiny kind(i have used it and it works) hope i helped
I have thick/wavy hair and I always had a problem with frizz control.

I've been using Aussie for about a year now, and absolutely love it! My hair is very shiny and smooth.
Aussie is really good. My hair is pretty thick and when it dries out ohh my goodness it is sooo poofy and i just got the frizz control shampoo and conditioner.
Herbal escence. It volumizes and damage control and keeps from frizzing and leaves it shiny. I love it I use it every morning and I have thick wavy hair
    Go to bumbleandbumble.com

They have everything for every type of hair. Best thing you can do for you hair is to put their product in it.
i have the same condition with my hair, i use Loreal Paris New Vive Pro. conditioner and shampo that treats medium to long hair that's damaged. it workes for me
Try herbal essence or sunsilk they have different shampoos for different kinds of hair and different ';issues'; you would want to deal with
    Hello Hydration by Herbal Essence

My hairs the same way and the shampoo and conditioner work pretty good for me!
Sleek. It's in an orange bottle. You can buy it at like a wal mart or target
I would recommened John Freida, anti-friz shampoo and conditioner! works great. Good luck!
    Protene
    Pantene Pro.

    Great for thick hair!

Makes it super soft and shiny. A little expensive, though. :p
tresemme is good and so is mane n tale shampoo/conditioner
    Treseme?
Pantene, Dove, or what works the best, TRESemme.
I would say Garnier Fructis Sleek %26amp; Shine system.

Either that or Head %26amp; Shoulders.
    i have the same hair.

i use garnier or herbal essence.
    herbal essenses.
    loreal
Dove have used it for about 8 years
ooh use panteen herbal essences or tressme

i personally like tressme the best
get the pantene Expressions line or Dove they are both very good
    i like aussie :]

What drugstore shampoo/conditioner promotes faster hair growth?

i have hair short like this avatar but i want it long.

i used to have it past my elbows but in september i cut it that short. i regret it and i want long hair fast. please help me.What drugstore shampoo/conditioner promotes faster hair growth?
I doubt shampoo or conditioner will increase hair length. You should use almond oil for your hair. Dove shampoo and conditioner has more moisturizer in it so it reduces hair breakage. If you have split ends, get rid of it because it will cause your hair to become weak and break thus making it shorter. Apply a combination of coconut oil, olive oil and almond oil to your hair. It will help in increasing your hair length. What drugstore shampoo/conditioner promotes faster hair growth?
    sunsillk
shampoo with neem leaf extract and with henna is said to be good for your hair.. also it is said that a weak infusion of curry leaves is good for your hair; leave on for half hour, rinse out .....and neem leaves, the same way

it is not just the shampoo that keeps your hair and scalp clean and healthy, but you should be sure to trim the ends even so your hair looks nice and you feel good about it, and in addition, be sure to brush your hair nicely every day to be sure your scalp is massaged..... and when you do a shampoo, make a little massage motion with the tips of your fingers but not so much that it snarls up your hair, then rinse well with cool (not hot) water

    none

    eat healthy food include proteins
    none!!

its all a myth that u can gt longer hair with shampoos etc,,,it a biological factor ad differs from person to person how fast their hair grow (or go,,lol !!)

but if u urgently need long hair then go for extensions

What is the best shampoo & conditioner for african american hair.....?

Without the natural hair becoming tangled or difficult to manage after shampoo? What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for african american hair.....?
I'm a hairsylist and the major line i see being used and that I myself LOVE is Kera Care by Avlon. Its a Professional product tha you can only get from the beauty supply. They have products to fit everyones needs from color treated hair to dry itchy scalps. As soon as you use their products you FEEL it working...its a little costly but worth it!What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for african american hair.....?
My hair is really soft and curly. I usually wear it natural most of the year, blowing it out to wear it straight during the colder months. The BEST product line I have found is Motions. Their Lavish Conditioning Shampoo and After Shampoo Conditioner with Silicon work miracles on my hair which can be very difficult to manage!

Coming from a person who has tried almost every product out there (to include Mane n' Tail) Motions is pretty inexpensive and worth a try! Not only does the conditioner totally eliminate tangles, it also makes the hair smooth and shiny when dry.
Carol's Daughter is a line of hair products that caters to all ethinicities, esp afro-american hair. Check out their products because i heard they are really great and they use all natural ingredients that promote growth and really condition the hair.

    The site is www.carolsdaughter.com.
There isn't one line that is best, what really matters is what does your hair need.

There are some women that swear by Kera Care Line or Aveda DR - both which cost a bit but are worth it.

I use two real cheapy conditioners and detangle in the shower - Vo5 Strawberries and Cream and Tressemme. - both are for mositure for protein I use Le Klair Cholesterol.

The key is to get something that makes your hair slippery and use a detangling comb while you're in the shower.

What is the best shampoo/conditioner/hair care for damaged hair and split ends???

The best shampoo/ conditioner I believe is natural and chemical free it is found at the below website.

It seal, conditions, and cleanses the hair. It is recommended that keeping your hair chemical free it will make your hair stronger, healthier, and shiner. What is the best shampoo/conditioner/hair care for damaged hair and split ends???
i've used so many and i think that cheapo vo5 for split ends shampoo and conditioner are good. also i like to use awapui conditoner in addition to the split ends one with some hot oil like suave or queen helene. it helps make the hair healthier. along with avoiding heat styling except for once or twice a week. if your hair is hard to tame you can always put some vo5 detangle and shine in it the rest of the time and wrap it up at night. What is the best shampoo/conditioner/hair care for damaged hair and split ends???
you can get this at any saturdays or hair care place, its a tan bottle and its called Cashmere...kinda like a cashmere sweater, it does good. Do your self, your hair and your wallet a favor...DON';T but anything from a dept. store or anything like that. stay away from everything on those shelves regaurdless of what they say. No hairapy, no garniar nutrice, no dove, nothing like that. ALWAYS get things from hair supply places. EVERYTHING on the market right now has wax and a whole bunch of crap in it. its like your washing your hair with dish detergant and lotion...its bad.
I've been using BioInfusion's ';The Gentle One '; Shampoo with their leave- In conditioner and that's been working good for me. I blow dry and flat iron nearly everyday. I used to use Sunsilk until I realized it was breaking my hair. I have what stylists call normal thin hair so it looks like I have a lot of hair but I really don't. It isn't coarse and only needs medium heat to straighten.
i would try bumble and bumble rich conditioner, smells amazing and works wonders!
Apparently all of them according to their adverts.

What shampoo/conditioner is good for split ends?

Actually the healthiest shampoo you can use is head and shouldersWhat shampoo/conditioner is good for split ends?
there's no cure to split ends but to get a hair cut/trim a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner should be good i use head and shoulders shampoo (the new ones) i have a dry scalp but to my amazement it is an amazing product for moisture! for a conditioner i use garnier strength and repair instant melting masque about 4 bucks the shampoo and regular conditioners are terrible i dont generally like them but it works i've used the infusium moisture sprays and AMAZING! so i would definitely recommend their hair conditioning/ washing products :) good luck to you! What shampoo/conditioner is good for split ends?
There is no shampoo or conditioner than can heal split ends. However, they can help make them less noticeable and prevent them! I would recommend Dove, Pantene, or Herbal Essences for this. Look for 'moisturizing' and 'repairing' keywords.
The best thing you can do is cut your split ends and use a protectant to protect your hair when you style it. Especially if you use a blowdryer or any other kind of heating tool.
    A trim

    Can you recommend a good colour-protecting shampoo/conditioner?

I have been dying my hair on and off for 5 years now. Recently I've been using Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair, but I don't think it's very good. I used to use Dove colour-protecting shampoo and conditioner and am thinking about going back to that, but I wonder if any of you can recommend another one that works for you? I love my dyed hair (plummy purple) but it fades quite fast so I really want to find a shampoo to look after it!

    Thank you!Can you recommend a good colour-protecting shampoo/conditioner?
lol well i can tell u one thing that'll put u off herbal essences - its animal tested, but also its sh*t lol

thing is with red/plumb colours they fade quickly...

if you can afford it - Paul Mitchell Colour Protect shampoo/conditioner are both good and anything by TIGI is colour safe and worka treat.

if not.... toni%26amp;guy do a range in boots

toni and guy colour reviver is the best i've ever used and i've been dying my hair for 6 years, its a little more expensive but it lasts a lot longer than others and comes in a range of different colurs

i get all that tooken care of with

    tresemme moisture rich

    %26lt;3
it all depends on your hair.......you really can't go wrong on silk drops, their so beneficial but you may need some professional smoothing shampoo...
I use pantene restoritives for frizzy hair, its the ONLY one that does me any good. and I used a mask (same brand) once a week. and I've tried soooooooo many different shampoos. i've got frizzy dry hair, its not straight but it's not extremely curly..
Well the best hair shampoo/conditioner that I use that moisturizes is Tresseme. They have everything for color treated hair, dry scalp, anti breakage to shine products! I'm mixed with Spanish and black and my hair is curly and it does wonders. Whether your hair is straight or curly or both.It may be a little pricier than most shampoos and conditioners but it's worth it. Try it you'll like it!

Does the Fekkai Glossing shampoo & conditioner from bath & body works work well?

I saw this on the website. i have blond hair and i would sure like it to be shinier and glossier. does this work well? is it worth the money??!Does the Fekkai Glossing shampoo %26amp; conditioner from bath %26amp; body works work well?
yes! i work at a bath and body works and got to sample these products! i love it, also the glossing creme works really well also. and it's totally worth the twenty-some bucks each because, honestly, you don't have to use that much of each, otherwise you have too much lather.Does the Fekkai Glossing shampoo %26amp; conditioner from bath %26amp; body works work well?
Fekkai's products are really good. The olive oil conditioner is one of my favorites. Try it and see how it works
I LOVE Frederic Fekkai products! They work so well, and are worth the money. Good luck! :)
My mother uses it and yes its expensive, but it works. Just try a test drive for a week, go out and buy a small sample bottle of shampoo and conditioner try it out and see the difference. Then if it works just get a bigger bottle and then its worth the money!
yesyesyes! fekkai is theee best. the glossing mist is also amazing too.

  • What is the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair type? (easy 10 points)?

ok so this is my hair type:

    1. naturally straight

    2. thick

    3. gets greasy pretty quickly but i dont actually have greasy hair

    4. it breaks easily

    5. gets really frizzy

    6. its really slippery if that makes sense to you

thanks so much :) also how can i get my hair to look good when i let it air dry it always look really flat frizzy and dark. What is the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair type? (easy 10 points)?
i like doves shampoo frizz control and nexxus detangler %26amp; conditionerWhat is the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair type? (easy 10 points)?
i use tresemme soothing. it's really great because it's cheap, uses natural ingredients to help soothe your hair and scalp and lightly moisturizes. also, tresemme heat recovery is really great!!

Tresemme is a really great brand because it's pretty cheap for a big bottle and is used in salons so you know it's great quality! you can also get it anywhere--even the grocery store!
I like to use Aussie products. A way that you can eliminate frizz is to use a really good conditioner. I like to use Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner. (Aussie is in a purple bottle) Also, remember to comb your hair after you shower. If it is still frizzy when it is dry, then use a frizz-ease serum that you can find at a salon, or at your local Wal-mart. Wash your hair every other day. Washing it too often just causes MORE oil.

Good Luck! Hope I helped! :D
HERBAL ESSANCE DANGEROUSLY STRAIGHT. omg my hair is exactly like yours. My hair has been 10 times less frizzy than it was before and it is stronger. My hair actually poofed out a little and wasn't greesy, but ya it helped dramaticly. I can feel it in my hair. my hair is so thick too. try it. the shampoo and the conditoner
if your hair is greasy you want to use a conditioner for normal hair.. no deep conditioning because thats just going to ad to your problem. Also do not apply conditioner your roots--your scalp releases natural oils--ends tend to need that extra moisture.

as far as shampoo--I use dove but that is very moisturizing...I like RUSK CALM...it cleans really well and doesnt leave my hair greasy... or Garnier Fructis...

when you let it air dry you can apply a little mousse and use a diffuser for some body...
I would suggest Bed Head products for your hair. Control Freak Shampoo/Conditioner is really good for reducing frizz and keeping your scalp from over producing sebum/oil. Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff for putting in your hair after you get out the shower. This will keep the frizz at bay without weighing it down and Spoil Me which is a finishing spray that will make sure your hair doesn't frizz and hold your style, plus it works great for retouching your style in between washes. Hope this helps good luck!
As far as shampoo and conditioner...i think pantene would be best go to a drug store and all of the pantene shampoo and condioner say different thing on the get the one that for dry frizzy hair..And for air drying ypu can use pantene oil its really good and works....
if you go to the tresseme website, you can take a quiz to find the right shampoo for your specific hair type.

i did this, and i'm now using vitamin c and e shampoo by tresemme, and i always get compliments on my hair :) good luckk

What shampoo & conditioner is the best for making your hair silky and shiny?

I always see the models on the hair adverts and they always have gorgeous silky, shiny hair. Are there any shampoos and conditioners that will make my hair like this?

I don't want anything too expensive though xxxWhat shampoo %26amp; conditioner is the best for making your hair silky and shiny?
HEAD AND SHOULDERS ITS THE BEST SMELLS LOVLEYY AND MAKES YOUR HAIR REALLY SHINY AND SOFT. I HAVE A TIP WASH YOUR CONDITINONER OUT WITH COLD WATER. THATS WHAT I DO ITS MAKES IT REALLLLLY SHINYY ;)What shampoo %26amp; conditioner is the best for making your hair silky and shiny?
Pureology is the best. a celebrity to the stars invented it. it is for color treated hair but that doesnt matter. i have old course hair and it makes my hair like silk again. it doesnt have the alcohol and sulfates either. it is 26.00 a bottle but you dont use that much about a nickel and it is well worth the money. i use hydrating and i dont need conditioner. you can get it at beauty shops, some usa drugs and walgreens carry it. i read where jennie garth and alicia silverstone use it and other celebrities use it you can google it.
I have hair almost to my waist which is already hard to keep healthy, on top of straightening everyday and color .. I use Bed Head Self Absorbed, it's got a ton of vitamins and such.. I also like Bed Head Moisture Maniac.. Both do wonders on my hair and aren't too expensive.. A big ol' bottle is about 21 bucks at Target or any place like that.
Sebastian and Redken both make fantastic haircare products - Sebastian is my favourite, but at the moment I use Redken, and it works wonders as well. All Soft or Colour Extend (if you colour your hair) if you go for Redken; Penetraitt if you go for Sebastian.

If you buy them online they're not that expensive either:)
I have used brilliant brunette by John Freda for years now. He does ones especially for blondes and red heads too. My hair looks thick, healthy and shiney and I ALWAYS get comments on it. My hair is very long aswell, like nearly down to my bum long lol it even makes the ends of my hair look healthy.

Flex works well for me but not for my best mate. It's really difficult to reccommend a particular brand as everybody's hair is different. What works for one person, may not work for another. I'm afraid you will just have to experiment!!
Most of those models on those shampoo adverts have fake hair- they use hair extensions or computer trickery to make it look that shiney. However, L'Oreal Elvive Cashmere Touch is one of the best shampoos I've found, makes my hair smoother more than anything.
in real life i have never seen hair like that, not even mine straight out of the salon. i usually use head%26amp;shoulders or tresemme salon silk and my hair is pretty shiny, not like the adverts though admittedly.

The Aussie range is very good. Most supermarkets sell it and it smells good.
I have found that Pantene is very good.

What kinds of shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and body wash do you reccomend for a guy?

any other neccessary toilet trees as well, im making a list

thanksWhat kinds of shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and body wash do you reccomend for a guy?
    Redken for Men-Mint Clean Shampoo

    Redken for Men-Cool Finish Conditioner

Tea Tree-Lemon Sage Body Wash or

    Axe Shower Gel- any scent

Nivea Clear for Men, for the face

Toothpaste: Crest w/Scope StripWhat kinds of shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and body wash do you reccomend for a guy?
    ';Toiletries'; not ';Toilet trees';!

LoL. All the toiletries in the market are suited for different people with different conditions. So I really can't help you much if you don't have any grooming problems.

So if anything, just get shampoo that's labeled ';total care';, to suite any problem you might have (although at a mediocre extent, but again, I don't know if you for example have a dry scalp). Do the same with the conditioner, the facial wash, buy some moisturizer if you want to take better care of your skin, etc. But here are some of the basic toiletries...

    Skin:

*Stay in the safe side and buy ';Hypoallergenic'; products.*

    Facial wash

    Skin Toner

    Moisturizer

    Hair:

    Shampoo

Conditioner (don't but bottles that are a combination of both)

    If you shave:

    Razor

    Shaving cream

    Aftershave
    -AXE body wash

    -pHisoderm face wash (acne)

    - ive heard about like L'oreal Vive Pro for men but im not sure whether thats like for ';the aging';

-u would want a toothbrush and toothpaste, which im assuming you already have...

    - a comb maybe

    - shaving stuff

    - if u want a cologne, use Fierce by Abercrombie%26amp;Fitch. it is seriously the best stuff in the world

    -AXE deodorant

    -Listerene mouthwash
Nivea is a good brand, Biore is also good for facial scrubbing. For shampoos, I like organic products, so try the Organix brand or Tresemme is also good. If you want salon shampoos though, I would recommend any Tigi products.
    LAUAT products
Try NIVEA, or even products from CLEAR for men.

Whats the best shampoo/conditioner for my type of hair?

    I have wavy-curly normal/oily hair.

What would be the best shampoo/ conditioner for my hair?Whats the best shampoo/conditioner for my type of hair?
use dove therapy shampoo it makes hair very soft hydrated smell very good also the conditioner is great for dry frizzy hair specially if you have thick hair.Whats the best shampoo/conditioner for my type of hair?
I have curly/wavy hair too and it gets oily fairly quickly. I alternate between Curl Life and Nature's Gate All Nature shampoo for volume and conditioner for shine.

Curl Life is a bit pricey but you can get both shampoo and conditioner at salons for a deal around holidays. Nature's Gate shampoos are $5 bucks a bottle at whole food store or at the whole food section at Kroger. Smells really nice. :)

for conditioner, this doesnt make your hair any straighter but it gives you this cool tingly feeling after you use it, and it makes your hair really shiny, silky, and volumous!

    Giovanni tea tree oil conditioner!

    ITS AMAZING!
save up and buy a hair straightener from a salon..

or use an iron (like the one you iron clothes with...) put it to a lowish temp... take a small hand towel fold it up and put the hair inbetween the towl and the iron and pull down....
Redken Smooth Down is the best!!!! Also using Redken Align as a styling product will help to straighten it.
I have dark thick hair and I like tresseme.
Tresemme, is the best I'm serious!!! I have naturally curly hair and sometimes i don't like it that way so... i use Tresemme, i forgot what kind it is though but there will be labels. It's made by professionals so you know it's good. Oh also Paul Mitchell works well.

  • Is herbal essences shampoo & conditioner safe to use on highlighted hair?

it doesnt say ';safe for color treated hair'; or anything, but i could've sworn my friend uses it on her highlighted hair. does anyone else use it on their color treated hair? please answer asap!Is herbal essences shampoo %26amp; conditioner safe to use on highlighted hair?
Herbal essences makes a shampoo and conditioner specifically for color treated hair. It's pink. But if you don't want to buy new, you can use whatever kind you have. Any shampoo and conditioner is safe but the ones specifically for color treated hair will help the color last a little longer and give the hair the proper amount of cleansing and moisture that treated hair needs!!Is herbal essences shampoo %26amp; conditioner safe to use on highlighted hair?
okay umm, theres this one herbal essences that i use for my color treated hair it's the bomb!!! i'll give u the web page 4 it below!! hope i helped!!
umm, well if it doesn't say ';safe for colour treated hair'; make sure it's a gentle shampoo and moisturizing conditioner.

i don't use it on my colour treated hair, but i'm sure it won't be that bad. if your super worried, check with your friend just to make sure.

How many times should you wash your hair with shampoo & conditioner a week?

i dk i wash my hair every weekHow many times should you wash your hair with shampoo %26amp; conditioner a week?
no more than once daily, no less than once every three days, but you should shower/bathe once a day, imo.How many times should you wash your hair with shampoo %26amp; conditioner a week?
one day yes one day no ,if you could wait 2 days then every 2 days!
i have to wash mine everyday, it just depends on what type of hair you have
depends on the type of hair you have
I wash my hair everyday, because I live in a hot climate and I just can't stand my hair being sweaty, but you don't have to wash it everyday.
I wash my hair everytime I shower, so at least once a day.

    I condition 2x a week.
i wash my hair everyday. but i dont condition. i hate conditioner. but surprisingly my hair isn't all messy and ugly with the conditioner.
About 2-3 times a week depending on how oily it is
I shampoo and condition my long hair once a week. Because it only gets blow dried/straightened once a week it is in the healthiest condition it has ever been.
i do every other day cus i luv the pretty smell of fresh hair
If you have really oily hair then it should be washed everyday.

People with dry hair may want to wash it every other day but condition it every day. Washing your hair strips it of essential oils that some people need.
i have really long straight hair. I wash it everyday becasue it gets oily on the roots..so i wash there specifically and just let the suds and of the top be worked in. I also bought this shampoo by Aussie it is for combination hair, oily on top dry on the bottom, gentle enough for everyday. Try it.
I wash my hair once a week, because if I wash it everyday, not only will I damage it, I would have to oil it everyday, and I don't have that much time....
On most day's i shampoo once and condition. when i sweat alot or know im dirty i shampoo twice though i shouldnt shampoo so much so to not dry out my scalp
every day i shower and wash my hair

I have a dry scalp apparently, does any commercial shampoo/conditioner actually work?

whenever i get my hair cut, the stylist always compliments me on how healthy my hair looks. which is weird bc i have a really dry scalp! i've been using herbal essences ';hello hydration'; for a while but nothing has changed. i'm thinking about switching to their ';no flakin' way'; which is for dandruff--but i've just got a dry scalp...not dandruff. does this all mean i need an intense moisturizer or an anti-dandruff...or is there really no difference between the two?I have a dry scalp apparently, does any commercial shampoo/conditioner actually work?
danruff shampoos will dry ur scalp even more. They have a gel by Neurogena (I don't remember the name sorry). But my doctor recommended it. You can find it any local department store...I have a dry scalp apparently, does any commercial shampoo/conditioner actually work?
    greese your scalp
Dandruff is just an excess of flaking skin, not a disease. Try something like Head and Shoulders.
selsun blue or head n shoulders
Use Head and Shoulders Dry Scalp formula. I had the same problem, I started using it and voila it was all better =)

    xoxo
Head and sholder or aussie works

What would you recommend is the best brand of shampoo & conditioner?

in aussie, for any hair type basically to make hair soft and shinyWhat would you recommend is the best brand of shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
Pantene Pro V works great for me.

it doesnt build up gunk like other products :)What would you recommend is the best brand of shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
Personally, I prefer to use ION products, purchasable at Sally's Beauty Supply. They have shampoo, conditioner, root lift, hair spray that really holds, containing shine. They also have a hair glaze you can use with the root lift that will hold your hair well and seal out humidity without building up a ';white film'; on the hair.
organix brand shampoos and conditionors are totally dank because they use all natural ingredients and work wonders. i personally recommend the coconut milk ';flavor';... super soft and shiny locks.. also the vanilla silk makes u SUPER soft and shiny...

    best of luck

  • What's your favorite hair shampoo/conditioner and why?

I happen to love Tresemme. =]What's your favorite hair shampoo/conditioner and why?
I really like Tresemme and Aussie. I usually use Aussie during the winter and Tresemme during the summer bc the sun and pulling it back makes my hair all dry and funky and its a good protector against that. Aussie just smells good and I like to change it up every once in a while. What's your favorite hair shampoo/conditioner and why?
I use the same as Audrina, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. It's a blue bottle. Very nice shampoo and conditioner, hydrates hair, and smells great too.
I'm in love with Paul Mitchell's Lavender Mint Tea Tree Shampoo. Doesn't fade my color, helps my scalp since I dyed it blonde from blackest black. Makes my hair soft, and it smells so freaking good.
I love baby shampoo by johnson and johnson, very gentle and really smell great and top it off it makes my hair shinny and new
I like Garnier Fructis Length and Strength and Aussie 3-minute miracle along with Hello Hydration because they keep my hair strong, shiny and soft.
Shampoo I don't care which one as long as it is gentle but conditioner for me is key and I love Paul mitchell instant daily moisture with shea butter it is the best!
Oddly enough, Suave Naturals Coconut is the best for my hair with olive oil or honey added as a humectant.
i use herbal essence hello hydration right now because its summer and the clorine drys out my hair.
Citre Shine, because it leaves my hair really shiny, soft, and weightless.
BED HEAD SUPERSTAR ITS 60 BUCKS BUT WORTH IT BECAUSE IT SMELLS GOOD

What is the closest smelling shampoo+conditioner to Pantene?

    none

How can I fix my hair after shower. Please, what kind of shampoo, conditioner or gel. I have AA hair.?

please, any alternative. How can I fix my hair after shower. Please, what kind of shampoo, conditioner or gel. I have AA hair.?
TreSemme or Kerastase. Of course the hair salon pros use Kerastase, VERY EXPENSIVE might I add, but very much worth it. This shampoo has minerals and vitamins for the hair, also it is an all into one, shampoo with conditioner. TreSemme is a great product also. The shampoo and conditioner when used together is a great way to soften damage hair and build balance in the scalp. I dont wash my hair everyday, but I know alot about hair products. Another product I recommend is Carol's Daughter Hair Products. The Hair Balm, Milk Conditioner, and Fui.

Wash you hair then condition it, then use a hair dryer, do you have a flat iron. You can simply flat iron it to straighten it and give it more relaxed look.

Good Luck. How can I fix my hair after shower. Please, what kind of shampoo, conditioner or gel. I have AA hair.?
if your hair is longer and coarse.. there is a great product by Biosilk.. its an oil that you put a TINY dab in your palms.. heat it up by rubbing your palms together and run it threw your hair!

If this is URGENT and needs to be fixed right now..

Using a hotel hairdryer will only make it look dryer and frizzy.. you need a cermaic dryer with Ions..

If you have already showered.. try putting a tiny dab of lotion in your palms, rub together, and run through your hair.. it will calm the frizz.. Then use a small amount of gel to style!

    Hope this helps!
Depends on how long it is. If it's above the ears, you should be able to gel it. Use some hydrating shampoo(yes even if you think it's for girls) and conditioner. That should do it some good.
the pantene pro-v products for women of color work really well..also, nexus exxtra styling gel works really well on natural hair if you want to slick it back after you wash/wet it or something..you should definitely try those! good luck!
I use Tresemme. I love it and I hate dirty hair so I wash my'n with shampoo twice and condition once. They do say it is not good to shampoo it twice for it does strip away natural oils.

I would use the dryer in the hotel on high heat. I would think such high heat might sterilize it... but dunno

Is dove shampoo/conditioner good if you swim lots?

It's summer and I'm going to be doing lots of swimming the pool, and there's chlorene obviously.

Will dove shampoo/conditioner help prevent my hair from drying out lots from swimming? Is dove shampoo/conditioner good if you swim lots?
find something called a clarifying shampoo

it gets all the chlorine out of your hair and keeps it really cleaIs dove shampoo/conditioner good if you swim lots?
Dove products caused my periods to stop and my hair to fall out (Ammonium Xylene-Sulfonate) and caused blisters on my spouse's hands and scalp (Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate). It took us a years to figure out what was causing it, but it's better now that we stopped using it. Xenoestrogens are bad. Report Abuse

My two puppy dogs are having some dry skin issues right now. Is there a shampoo/ conditioner that could help?

They've both been itchin' and scratchin' a lot and the older one has a few raw spots now. If it makes a difference one is a bichon frise/ cocker spaniel mix. The other is an aussie cattle dog/ corgi/ somethingorother mix. Thanks! My two puppy dogs are having some dry skin issues right now. Is there a shampoo/ conditioner that could help?
It is possible they have allergies to food or environmental. You should switch their food to one w/o grain in it %26amp; try adding fish oil capsule to their food daily. Bichons have notorious skin issues %26amp; allergies.

Do not overbathe them. It makes it worse. Brushing helps by distributing their natural coat oils thru the hair. I suggest only using a good pet hypo shampoo w/o soap, detergent, dye or perfumes esp. for the bichon mix. They will break out over the smallest irritation. Do not conditioner - it does not help dry skin. In fact it changes their natural ph, will start drying them out more %26amp; cause pimples %26amp; rashes. My two puppy dogs are having some dry skin issues right now. Is there a shampoo/ conditioner that could help?
try also taking them to the vet they may have a allergie to something my dog in the picture with my son had the same problem along with ear infections she almost looked mangy i took her to the vet and she had an allergy to grains she then adv to research different diets and i did. she is now on the barf diet. ask the vet they should be able to pinpoint the problem.
My dog had a problem with dry skin one time and I went to the pharmacy and bought some oatmeal bath, it comes in a box dry. Just follow the instruction, this should help sooth their itching. If it doesn't get any better you may have to take them to the vet and see what is wrong.
perfect shampoo!! just look at this website it says it will keep their hair in, stop them from itching, and moisturize their skin!

Check out some of the online pet suppliers under shampoos. You'll find zillions

I recently used kv pets. It was less expensive than the other two but try which ever is easier to use then compare prices among them.

Pet Meds has always been higher when I checked them .

You can try Omega 3's capsules tho it didn't help mine for dry skin.
Sometimes if you wash your dogs to much. They say you should only wash them 1 time a mouth. But if they start to smell it is best to get a wash cloth with a lil soap and water and but wash the some parts of your dogs.
This shampoo and conditioner works very well for dry and itchy skin:

    Good luck!
Lavender essential oil shampoo is usually pretty good. Also, diet has impact on skin. Try feeding wild salmon oil with food.
Bring them to a pet store and ask them what shampoo they recomend.

If they do not give you a straight answer bring them to the vet {vets usually sell special shampoo's].

    Good luck.
Try adding some fish oil to the kibbles

Sometimes skin problems are related to the diets...shift the food brand and see whether it's getting better...
Etiderm shampoo and conditioner works really well. You can ask your vet for a sample. Hope this helps.
ditto on having them checked for allergies and adding fatty acids such as fish oil to their food would be way better than any shampoo.
Use one that has Aloe Vera and Chamomile in it. You can get it at Pet Depot or Petco.

  • What shampoo/conditioner would you NOT recommend?

What shampoo/conditioner do you think sucks and why? What shampoo/conditioner would you NOT recommend?
In my opinion I would NOT recomend Aussie, The whole Nair Brand and i Recomend Hairpy Sunsilk (my favorite) also suave, and Pantene

Hope I helped ;DWhat shampoo/conditioner would you NOT recommend?
Anything you can buy at a grocery store I like real natural (ORGANIC) hair products and you have to be careful because some say natural and are not ex:Natures gate.

Be wary of things with silicone or just cones in general, parabens, mineral oil,and petralateum- I hope I spelled that right.
    shampoos that test on animals.

    Like herbal essences.

    Pantene

    Aussie

    Suave

    Johnson %26amp; Johnson

    etc.

    i KNOW people are going to say, '; OH BUT IT SMELLS SO GOOD';

Well you know what, what if i put superglue in your hair and you tell me if you like it or not!

Thats the same exact thing they're doing to your pets.
Panteen Pro V I heard it makes your hair fall out after a while. Also what type of hair do you have? That makes a big difference.

Please check my question on height rods thanks.
    i dont think head and shoulders work..so i wouldnt recommend using that...and that one silk shampoo...and jup dats about it..;
well the only ones i use is sun silk head and soulders and erbalessences i think all the rest suck

What is the best shampoo/conditioner to use?

i have light blonde hair that doesn't take long after a cut to get split ends. i am trying to grow it out long so i need a good shampoo and conditioner to keep it growing long and healthy without those split ends! can someone recommend me a not so overpriced shampoo and/or conditioner?

thanks :)What is the best shampoo/conditioner to use?
well one that i like a lot is the Tigi and Catwalk collection. you can find them in most ';modern'; salons, and you can even sometimes find them at places like marshall's or ROSS where they may be discounted.

i really like the curls rock, rock star, and brunette goddess shampoos and conditioners. and remember to blow dry your hair after you shower with a wide toothed brush. just make sure it is completely dry in the end. What is the best shampoo/conditioner to use?
Get tigi catwalk 'Dumb Blonde' shampoo and conditioner, they bring out the colour and dull down brassy tones and are also very hydrating. Another tip is sea kelp tablets, they actually help to make hair grow faster. Lots of my friends swear by them. x
I swear by Mane %26amp; Tail. I've completely bleached my whole head and it left my hair soooo damaged. Mane %26amp; Tail made my hair really thick and healthy again. It's in the pet section at Wal-Mart (yes, it's for humans to use too!)
i personaly think that any biolage product will be the best for you to use. i have the same hair and it just brushes out like silk. its kinda of expensive but it will be worth it!!
A lot of drugstore shampoos are full of chemicals that are terrible for your hair - Pantene, for instance, contains silicone, which coats your hair and leaves it deceptively shiny but actually does a lot of damage.

I would look for an organic shampoo or something that contains tea tree oils to help protect your hair and keep your ends from getting damaged. Jason Natural makes hair care products that are natural and healthy!
My friend who is a stylist said that TREsemme works really good. It was created by a salon. Her teacher used it so it must work.

What shampoo/conditioner/products have you used that REALLY make your hair grow faster?

I'm trying to grow mine out. oh yeah, and any suggestions on how to not make my hair expand when it dries? its curly (a good thing) but also poofy (a suckish thing). thanks i%26lt;3all you guysss!!What shampoo/conditioner/products have you used that REALLY make your hair grow faster?
try maine and tail shampoo. (http://www.overstockdrugstore.com/produc鈥?/a> they use it for horses to get their maine and tail thick and long but it also works for humans (you can find it at the drugstore). i know, it sounds strange to use a shampoo that can be used for horses but on the back it has directions for human use too and it really works. it took me about a month to get results. it takes time.

hope i helped! What shampoo/conditioner/products have you used that REALLY make your hair grow faster?
NIOXIN is great. There is a whole line of therapy you should check out. It is pricey, so if you're looking for a more affordable alternative trying a supplement called Biotin. This is what is found in NIOXIN. You can find Biotin at walmart. The 5000mg is what I would recommend.
