What is the best grease, shampoo, conditioner for my hair (i'm black)?
I'm black so my hair is way diff. then you all and I want to take more care of it and what kind of shampoo should i get then. What is the best grease, shampoo, conditioner for my hair (i'm black)?
Well, with black hair you need moisture, moisture, moisture. Our type of hair tends to get dry and brittle at times because of the products we use like relaxers or flat irons.
I've used Motions products that has helped with keeping my hair from drying out thats on the least expensive side of products, but i've found that I use Neutrogena shampoo to clean off my hair from all the products I use and layer in my hair during the week, then I use a moisture rich shampoo right after like Nexus products then Nexus Keraphix conditioner that puts the moisture back in.
But again, if cost is an issue, motions products are priced well and you can find it at almost any major department store...like walmart or target that will carry the full line. Just focus in on the items that will put moisture back in and won't weigh your hair down.
Below was a site I found on other reasonably priced products for black hair. I hope it helps. What is the best grease, shampoo, conditioner for my hair (i'm black)?
Mane %26amp; Tail Hair Care range,
dark and lovely is a good brand. pantene for people of color really isn't anything to brag about.
i use BB super grow grease.
carrot or olive oil is good too.
i use leave ins for my hair.
herbal essence is only good to use on black hair once in a while.
i am biracial.
I would look into getting a shampoo specifically made for African hair. There are many out there. If you dont want to spend the money, look for a hydrating shampoo and conditioner made for dry hair.
For a product, try leave in conditioners and such. Next time you visit the salon, see what they recommend.
my hair is very funny and im very cautious about what i use so i use doo gro and profectiv products. doo gro is great and is a very light grease. all profectiv products leave my hair feeling great www.profectiv.com order samples and you will not be let down

What shampoo/conditioner works best to tame frizz?
I have moderately frizzy hair and I was wondering if anyone knows what shampoo/conditioner works best. Some of the possibilities I thought of were: Garnier Fructis Sleek %26amp; Shine, Herbal Essence none of your frizzness, Aussie Sydney Smooth.
I have used Aussie, but not the sydney smooth.
I want to know what products really work, so if you have used them and have first hand knowledge that would be great!
thanks! What shampoo/conditioner works best to tame frizz?
i use the aussie smooth stuff and i lvoe it. but i depends on how you style your hair too. i straighten mine, no blowdry (airdry). i use hair gel so the straightener doesnt damage my hair plus it has anti frizz serum in it.What shampoo/conditioner works best to tame frizz?

just don't use Herbal Essence none of your frizzness, it's crap. I just use frizz serum on my damp hair. Like Garnier Fructis, it works well.
its not conditioner or shampoo but its works amazing!! its called Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum
I use Head%26amp;Shoulders Normal 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner for my hair, I think it works great. [:
I like my vive pro smooth and sleek.

Use a mosturizing shampoo especially made for dry hair such as an TIGI bed head line shampoo. Then, the accompanying conditioner. When you get out of the shower let your hair dry naturally or blow dry, then apply preheat protectant if you are going to use a straightener (I use CHI brand protectant.) Apply a leave-in conditioner. I use TIGI bed head leave-in conditioner also.
Aussie moist collection is pretty good I like it keeps your hair really soft, luscious, and MOIST!!!!!!! It smells awesome too!!! It is also safe enough for daily use

How to use Nioxin Shampoo+Conditioner correctly?
I was wondering when you do the conditioner I normally just do the mid-bottom section of my hair only and don't get any on my crown/top of my head (as I learned that this is the proper way to do conditioning) but for Nioxin I was wondering if I should just keep doing that or for this particular conditioner I should just do my whole head roots/crown/tips and all. Thank you!How to use Nioxin Shampoo+Conditioner correctly?
go to the midshaft to the ends
and then go to the roots with leftover conditoner.
leave it on for at least 10 mins
then wash it out!
also, dont shampoo your hair everyday (2 times a week)
it takes the natural oils out!
but conditon all the time. How to use Nioxin Shampoo+Conditioner correctly?
This is my nioxin routine:
Get shampoo in all your hair and scalp, then rinse
Condition whole scalp and hair and leave in for 3-5 minutes
Rinse head with cold water
And do this every other day

Most shampoo lines carry a color shampoo and conditioner. Herbal Essence has a good one!
I use Herbal Essences - Color Me Happy. It really works. I had blonde and black put in and they haven't faded and it has been 5 weeks.

What is the best shampoo conditioner for coarse hair??
If you dont have coarse hair please dont respond, I need the best advice possible. Thank you! What is the best shampoo conditioner for coarse hair??
I use Pantene Relaxed and Natural shampoo and conditioner for women of color. What is the best shampoo conditioner for coarse hair??
motions is the best ever. try it
I was a former stylist. Look in a salon that sell KMS products, the best stuff always has a price, but this isn't a product with New York pricing either. Use their Nefa shampoo, (smells like coconut) they use pure vegetable fatty acids or ';essential fatty acids';, (amino acids) I used a product on clients named Ultra Pak, smells like chocolate. Use it as a repair product, then swith to one called Replace. Sometimes all you have to do is repair the hair first and swith to a good moisturizing conditioner. Its been a few years, so they may have something even better now. I have found that many products have polymers, if that is on the label of ingredients, don't use it, they dry the hair. Do it and tell me how it goes, look online and in yellow pages for a salon that sells them. Are you a redhead? African American hair responds well to this too for softer hair.
Pantene always works well for me --- try the deep conditioning treatment they have.
Try Mane %26amp; Tail -- it's the same ingredients used for horses! (not joking -- the stuff works and it's reasonably priced!)
Why dont u try Keune or Wella. Wella Kolestral for curly hair and Emulsion for straight hair.
sunsilk
i think its sunsilk. really good stuff.
I have coarse hair too. Plus, mine tends to be dry sometimes. I use Keracare shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo detangles my hair and retains moisture. When I'm done, my hair is very soft and manageable.
I have very coarse, thick, wavy hair and i use this conditioner by Nexxus called Humectin. It adds moisture to my hair so its softer. It's the only thing that works for me :-)
Try using Keracare. It's expensive, but it works great with my hair. I have coarse long hair (not a weave) so keeping it nice is a real challenge.
